An ordinary potato, a cultivated product in which all natural processes are manipulated by man... What happens when you take the potato out of its natural environment and place it in an absurdly artificial growing site? By bringing the potato indoors, roots hanging in water, it stops being a useful product. However, natural processes such as root development and growing leaves continue. Paradoxically, by taking this plant out of its natural growing environment into into an extremely artificial one, it becomes a natural plant again.
